My name is Missy Hamby & I've been married to my husband, David, since 2007. I was raised in GA and that is where David and I met (on a blind date). We moved to David's hometown in 2014 & home is now Lenoir, NC. Together we are raising our sweet son, Henry, who is 12 years old. David is an owner of a cell phone tower construction company.

I worked in customer service for 6 years and then chose to be a stay-at-home mom when our son was born in 2010. In my spare time, I love spending time with friends, family and talking to people about all things travel related! My family loves to travel! Some of our favorite places to visit have been Italy, St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, Washington D.C., Las Vegas and Orlando. Orlando has two of my favorite places in one city... Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort!

When visiting Disney, my family usually stays at the moderate resorts. My favorite is probably Coronado Springs Resort. The rooms in the Gran Destino Tower are beautiful! I highly recommend a room with a water view. When visiting Universal it would have to be the Royal Pacific Resort. I want to bottle the smell of their lobby up and use it as a perfume! It is also a premier hotel and that means the Universal Express Unlimited pass is included with your stay.

I truly believe that both Disney and Universal offer a high-quality & fantastic vacation experience for all. I have personally taken family trips (both immediate and large extended family vacations), girls trips, work trips and mother/son trips
to both of these destinations. Each trip has been uniquely different and a whole lot of fun!
