That’s what Walt Disney said to the crowd on the opening day of Disneyland, and that’s what I say to you as I welcome you here to my travel agent page. My name is Lydia Storks, and I’d love to help you plan the vacation of a lifetime!

I’m originally from South Carolina, but I currently reside in Central Florida with my husband Wesley. By day, I work as a theme park journalist, writing about the latest Disney World and Universal Orlando news. Both my husband and I have Disney World annual passes and we visit frequently (sometimes weekly!), which helps me stay up-to-date on all the latest news and changes -- perfect for being both a journalist and a travel agent. 

My primary focus as a travel agent is planning vacations to Central Florida: Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando. However, I can also plan trips to other Disney and Universal locales, including Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney, Disneyland Paris, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Hawaii, and Universal Hollywood Resort.

5 Fun Facts About Me:

  1. My husband and I got engaged in Tanzania, East Africa when he was living there as a missionary. Most of our relationship was very long distance!
  2. I’m a big fan of Disney “challenges” and I’ve visited all four Disney World parks in one day multiple times.
  3. In college, I majored in Mathematics and minored in Spanish and Bible. I didn’t pick careers in any of those fields!
  4. I became a HUGE Star Wars fan after getting married, all thanks to my husband. We love visiting Galaxy’s Edge!
  5. I once won a dance contest on a cruise ship! It’s random, I know, but it’s one of my more ridiculous accomplishments. ;)
