Hi! I'm Carrie and I'm so glad you visited Keys to Dream Travel's website! My friend and fellow preacher's wife, Michelle, (with the help of our husbands), started this agency in hopes of providing honest and Christian-based services for others.  I live in Hopkinsville, Kentucky with my husband, John, and two daughters. My husband and I met at Freed-Hardeman University and have been married for 23 years. John is a preacher and I'm a homeschool and stay-at-home mom. Before I became a travel planner, I was a 2nd grade public school teacher in Georgia for nearly 8 years. I love all things Disney, whether it’s planning birthday parties, movie nights, Walt Disney World vacations, Disney Cruise Line vacations or counting down to our upcoming vacations with Disney-themed activities. 

I have been so fortunate to have been able to go on over 40 Walt Disney World vacations and 9 Disney cruises, with most of them in the past ten years. My parents took me to Walt Disney World for the first time when I was three years old. I was able to go back a few more times during my childhood. When I married, I was able to take my husband on his first trip in July of 2004. We had such a wonderful time together that he surprised me with a Walt Disney World weekend trip for our 5th wedding anniversary in November of the same year! We went several other times as a couple. Our favorite experience was the Keys to the Kingdom Tour at Magic Kingdom! When we became parents, my love for Disney entered an all new level! We took our firstborn daughter to the Magic Kingdom the day before she turned 2 and she’s been hooked ever since! From singing “Part of your World” when she met her favorite princess, Ariel,  to dancing with Prince Charming at a character dinner to saying she wants to grow up and be a Disney parks performer, I am so thrilled that she enjoys all things Disney, too! She is quickly teaching her younger sister about all things Disney as well!

My all-time favorite vacation was a seven-night Western Caribbean Disney cruise in 2009 to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and our daughter’s 2nd birthday. It was the trip of a lifetime! I can’t say enough great things about Disney Cruise Line; the service from the waiters and stateroom hostess, the Oceaneer Club for kids, port adventures, cleanliness, variety of food, nightly Broadway-style Disney shows and attention to detail are just a few things that make Disney cruises my favorite. We have since celebrated our 15th and 20th anniversary by taking a seven-night Disney cruise on a seven-night Eastern Very Merrytime cruise on the Disney Fantasy.

A few of my favorite rides and attractions at  Magic Kingdom are Enchanted Tales with Belle, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain, Festival of Fantasy Parade, Jungle Cruise and the Gaston character meet and greet. At Hollywood Studios, my favorites are Toy Story Midway Mania, Slinky Dog Dash, Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway, Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage and Rockin’ Roller Coaster.  At Epcot, my favorites are Frozen Ever After, Soarin' and Guardians of the Galaxy. At Animal Kingdom, my favorite rides are the Kilimanjaro Safari, Expedition Everest and Flight of Passage. My favorite character meals are Minnie's Dine, Topolino's Terrace, Chef Mickey's and Akershus. My favorite non-character meals are 'Ohana dinner, Whispering Canyon, Sanaa, T-REX, Liberty Tree Tavern and 50's Prime Time Cafe. 

I've been a travel planner for 10 years and have enjoyed planning vacations for families.
